What are the rods on the inside of the gardens?
These are bracing rods. They come included in the L-shaped garden kits and thread into the bolts on the side walls of the panels. They provide strength needed to ensure the shape of the garden. As always, there are step by step instructions for installation.
What tools and expertise do I need to build a Sproutbox Garden kit?

Ordering the nest from Sproutbox has been the best decision I’ve made for my garden. It’s the first year in this garden and everything is lush beyond my expectations. I’ve had a bumper crop of tomatoes, Swiss chard, beans, medicinal herbs, salads, beets, zucchinis, carrots and so much more! This raised bed isn’t just easy to assemble and use but it looks awesome as well! It’s such a focal point in my garden. Sitting out there after I have tended to my plants and brought the harvest in for another day is one of my favourite things to do. I highly recommend the nest!
I have a 2nd video as well. I loved how this shape let me access a large garden volume easily. Used the cardboard boxes & packing paper from my move to line all of my beds, then a couple of feet of black earth & mushroom compost. Lots of room for top ups with soil & more compost next year! (Said tomatoes in narration when I should have said potatoes)

My 3 boxes of the nest arrived (a few weeks ago) in what appeared somewhat banged up. I expect that to happen during shipping. I figured the items are protected well enough inside the boxes to prevent damage from what appears to be normal handling. On opening the boxes, the outer nest panels all had the corners bent on the "damaged" end of the box. It appears that the carrier did drop the boxes hard enough to damage these panels but not hard enough to break the boxes open. May I suggest possibly a bit heavier protection on the bottom end of these boxes for these outer panel corners. I was able to bend them back enough to fit the panels together without needing tools to squeeze it together for putting the screws and buts on. Outside of the carrier 'damage,' I'm very pleased with the product and will certainly purchase more. We are up to 7 garden boxes now, 9 if the bonus 2 boxes that come with the nest are counted as individual boxes. Quality is excellent, the finish is fantastic and just plainly adds to the look of our property. Had an issue with shipping, once again a carrier issue, suggest that you inform people that eventhough it gets delivered physically to your residence, if your mailing address has a PO Box, leave that off the order as it may cause non-delivery despite the residences physical address on the shipping label. Sproutboxgarden took the time to assist us in getting that straightened out, thank you for that excellent customer service! We will purchase again in the future.

Although it was a substantial investment, years of repairing Cedar & PT Raised Gardens Paid off Big Time. It allowed us to focus from the ground up rather than keep putting band aids on a problem out of control. My wife has struggled over the years for something that she truly loves. Very easy to put together once you lay it out. Could have been done by one person, but glad I had someone else helping to get it done quicker. Now I'm planning planter boxes for all over my garden. This piece does come with "bonus" containers (because the nest is 3 crescents, so you get the extra end).
I have a hobby farm loaded with animals and gardens, this garden bed was so perfect as it allowed me to create a beautiful seating area in the centre to enjoy the views! Also its so easy to access all the plants and I used it as a barrier, chickens stay on one side and beautiful flowers on the other!
We were surprised that the Nest is packaged in 3 identical boxes, but that made it easy to move them, unpack them and sort out what's what inside. Construction went quickly and easily except that the soft edging provided was a bit difficult to force over panel joints which was hard on hands until we learned to spread the edging a bit with a large screwdriver. We are already seeing some evidence of rust, only from the edges under the cap. We're very happy with our purchase. It's very large and fills the space allocated to it very well. Once planting season arrives and the plants mature it's going to look terrific!

Sometimes, at the end of the piece of edging there is a small amount of metal that extends past the rubber. This may rust but please be assured that the raised bed is not rusting.
